Bryson MeadusHeight: 6'3 Hometown: Cambridge, Ontario Program: Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies Volleyball Position: Outside Hitter Current Team: Kitchener-Waterloo 18U Predators Info About me: I have played club volleyball with the KW Predators for 5 years. I also played rep basketball for 4 years. For high school volleyball I was the District 8 Most Valuable Player, where I led my team to our 2nd District 8 Championship in a row. Why Trent: When I toured the school it had a great atmosphere and had a beautiful campus. I am also excited to pursue volleyball at University level. Coach's Note: "We are excited to have Bryson be a part of our program. We look forward to him bringing his ability to score to our team. He has proven to be a great teammate and will fit right in at Trent." |

Adrian KalyniukHeight: 6'0 Home Town: Ile Des Chenes. Manitoba Program: Bachelor of Business Administration Volleyball Position: Setter Current Team: Providence Pilots Info about me: 3x Provincial All-star in MHSAA, 3rd place for Team Manitoba 2017 JFC (Jeux Franco-Canadien) in Moncton, NB, Volleyball Manitoba Graduating All-Star (2017), 2018 MCAC Championship (in which I lead the league in assists). Why Trent: Trent is giving me the opportunity to continue playing volleyball at a high level as well as giving me the chance to study at a prestigious University and learn and grow as a player and as a person. Coach's Note: "Adrian will be bringing his volleyball IQ and experience to Trent. We are looking forward to growing with him as a player and with our volleyball program." |

Ethan EarleHeight: 6'4 Hometown: Pickering, Ontario Program: Business and Arts Volleyball Position: Middle Blocker Current Team: Titans Uprising Info About Me: I started playing volleyball in grade 5. I played with region 4 in OSG. I was the captain of my high school team. I volunteered as an assistant coach for my high school junior girls team. Why Trent: I am interested in Trent University because they provide a dual business program that will allow me to meet both my preferred interests. I am looking forward to being part of Trent's growing volleyball program Coach's Note: "Ethan has great speed and timing in the middle. Once he adapts to the University speed he will be a great asset to the volleyball program at Trent" |

Michael SherbutHeight: 6'1 Hometown: Calgary, Alberta Program: B.B.A Volleyball Position: Setter Current Team: Free Agency Info About Me: I started playing volleyball in Calgary at 14, where I became an accomplished club player and provincial beach team player. Queen's recruited me for my first year of university volleyball, before I left and finished out my degree setting at York University. In summer 2018 I played for Unity Bounce in the One Volleyball premier league, and trained with the Canadian beach program. Why Trent: I'm excited to be working with such a dedicated group that genuinely loves playing volleyball, and working under an extremely talented coaching staff. Coach's Note: "Michael brings a variety of high level experiences to the Trent program. He has proven at the highest level to be a great teammate. After so many athletes graduating last season, we will look to him to help fill that void" |

Mark SzczubialHeight: 6'3 Hometown: Toronto, Ontario Program: It System and E-commerce Volleyball Position: Opposite Current Team: Titans 18U Info About Me: Attended Neil McNeil high school, Enjoy playing beach volleyball competitively, Started volleyball in 16U. Why Trent: I chose Trent because it would let me be close to my family, Trent also has many newer facilities and a young volleyball team/program, with a small campus size instilling the sense of community. Coach's Note: "Mark is able to score with his strong left shoulder. We will be looking to him early to score points for us. We look forward to him expanding his arsenal of shots and believe he can be a great player in this league." |

Peyton LeeHeight: 6'1 Hometown: Ajax, Ontario Program: Business Administration Volleyball Position: Outside Attacker Current Team: Durham Attack Info About Me: Tier 2 Nationals Champions 2019, Senior Male Athlete of the Year Ajax High School, 2020 defensive player of the year. Why Trent: Trent University offers exceptional student athlete programs that focussed on athlete skill development. The training centre and gym offer a wide variety of equipment to improve on and off the court. I like the campus as Trent offers a more connective feel and allows more one on one discussions in sport and academics. Coach's Note: "Peyton has a defensive tenacity about him and will not let the ball hit the ground. His work ethic will fit right in to the culture we have a Trent, as he is humble and hard working" |

Jacob WisemanHeight: 6'6 Hometown: Clarenville, Newfoundland and Labrador Program: Criminology Volleyball Position: Middle Blocker/Opposite Current team: Clarenville Cougars Info about me: My names Jacob Wiseman. I'm from clarenville NL but was actually born in Jacksonville Mississippi, then moved to Pearland Texas. Then moved to clarenville when I was 11. Since starting playing volleyball in grade 7 my team has won many tournaments and such in middle school and high school. In 2019 I was named MVP at the subway classics in my hometown of clarenville, I also received a couple all star awards that year as well. This year my high school team has gone on to win the Dalhousie classics, the burger king classics, and school sports AAAA's provincials! I represented Newfoundland on the 'A' team the summer of 2019. Why Trent: I chose Trent University as two people that are my former teammates go to Trent and play on the team, I played with Isaac Avery for 2 years on my high school senior team as well as nationals in 2018, and I played with Chris Leroy at nationals 2018 as well. Coach's Note: "Jacob directly brings size to our program. He is raw, but we see so much potential in him. We will be looking to him early for his presence at the net. Once he establishes himself with our Trent conditioning program he will be even more of a force on the court." |

Osemi EfosaHeight: 6'5 Program: Bachelor of Social Work Volleyball Position: Middle Blocker Current team: Free Agent Info about me: I started playing volleyball pretty late but in my 18u year I committed to Sheridan College. I played for two years and learnt a lot about myself as a person and as a player. I took my 2 years in the OCAA to further better my game to hopefully translate it into the OUA this coming season. Why Trent: I chose Trent because I was looking for a school that was going to meet my needs educationally. I've always been a firm believer in having an educational background to fall on. I also chose Trent because I felt like I had a great relationship with the coaches and felt the authenticity in the things they want for the program in the next few years to come. I also wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself and I felt like Trent was the best fit. Coach's Note: "Osemi can have an immediate impact at Trent. He brings great size and power to the team. He also has experience at the post secondary level. We will be looking to him to help promote a winning culture with his 'team first' attitude." |
