Visit this page for updates all weekend long as the team competes Oct. 17-19

The Trent Excalibur women's lacrosse team has wrapped up another outstanding regular season, finishing first in the OUA with a 7-1 record and once again proving themselves among the top programs in the province.

The Excalibur enter the postseason with a strong legacy of success - capturing Ontario University Athletics (OUA) gold in 2019 and 2021, silver in 2022, and bronze in 2023. Last season, the team narrowly missed the podium after falling in the bronze medal game, but this year, Trent is determined to climb back to the top.

Led by a powerful offensive unit, the Excalibur dominated the OUA scoring leaderboard. Excalibur rookie Maddy Baxter finished second in the league with 25 goals, while Natalie Fournier and Abby Hiltz tied for third with 24 apiece. Hiltz also led all players in assists with 21 - showcasing the team's depth and chemistry in the attacking end.

This year's OUA Patterson Cup Championship is hosted by the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks at Ansley Alumni Field, University Stadium. Trent will open their playoff run on Friday, October 17 at 5:45 p.m., facing the winner of the Ontario Tech vs. McMaster matchup earlier in the day.
