The Laurier Golden Hawks are the 2023 OUA men's curling champions.
Laurier went undefeated all weekend, facing TMU Bold in the quarter final game, defeating them 9-4.
The men defeated Guelph 6-5 in the semi final game, sending them to face Queens in the gold medal draw.
With great effort from both teams, Laurier claimed the gold medal with a 6-5 score.
This marks the teams third consecutive gold medal finish since 2020, with a break in play in 2021 due to COVID-19.
The Brock Badgers defeated Guelph 4-3 for the bronze medal.
Laurier, Queens and Laurentian (host) will go on to compete in the U SPORTS national championship in Sudbury in March.
